Our learning portal has a number of functions including:

  • Accessing personalised Student Performance Dashboard & Teacher Reports
  • Asking questions on tutor forums
  • Participate in weekly multiple choice quizzes (marked online)
  • Viewing our tailor-made resources
  • Submit homework
  • Participate in zoom based revision sessions

Our class sizes are between 3-6 students, we believe teaching in small groups allows students to learn from collaboration and discussion, whilst keeping the groups small allows each student to gain plenty of time and attention from the tutors. Group sizes may differ when students are joining as part of their one-time free trial.

Our courses are tailor-made to match all major exam boards’ specifications including Edexcel, OCR & AQA. If a student is enrolled throughout the full programme length, they will cover every topic that could be assessed in their exam. Additionally, as the students approach exam season, our teaching focus shifts on to mastering exam technique to ensure they are able to perform to the best of their ability under pressure.

We provide weekly homework which is designed to take 1 hour of the student's time outside of the lesson. We believe homework is necessary and fundamental to the learning process through iteration and application. Homework usually consists of a short multiple choice quiz which can be accessed on our portal alongside, a short written assignment often based on exam style questions. We ask that students upload any written homework to their portal before the Friday following their class, this allows our tutors the best chance to mark their homework before the next lesson whilst, also encouraging students to revist the content soon after the lesson.

All parents receive their own login credentials for our portal. Through this parents are able to view all their children's performance dashboards for each subject. These include a series of scores and charts showing the student's performance through homeworks, quizzes and unit tests. Additionally, parents will be notified when tutors have uploaded their monthly feedback reports, consisting detailed written feedback outlining the student's strength and weakness.

You can contact us at to let us know if you cannot attend your regular lesson at least one week in advance and where possible we will try to accommodate you to a different lesson scheduled that weekend. If you wish to move permanently to another class please send us an email with your preferred class time and we will try to accommodate this change where our timetable permits.

Your child will be assessed regularly, at the end of a major topic there will be a unit test to test their understanding and grasp of content and will also receive an end of term exam. This enables us to see how well the students have been grasping the content and their progression throughout the course. Additionally, the scores from online quizzes and homeworks will be uploaded on the portal and both students and parents are able to view these on the Performance dashboard on your portal.
